1. What is Mothership Life?
Mothership Life is a community-driven initiative based in Shrewsbury, supporting mums and mums-to-be at every stage of their parenting journey. We offer real-life, peer-led support that's honest, helpful, and heart-led.

2. Who can join Mothership Life?
All mums and mums-to-be are welcome, no matter your age or stage of motherhood—whether you're expecting, have a newborn, are deep in the toddler years, or navigating the teenage stage.

3. Is Mothership Life only for new mums?
No! We support all mothers—from those expecting their first child to parents with teenagers. Our community is open to anyone seeking support, connection, and friendship.

4. What kind of support do you offer?
We provide peer support and mentoring, life skills and confidence-building workshops, community outreach and events, in-home and on-the-ground help, and flexible programmes shaped by you—our community.

5. Do you tell parents how to raise their children?
No. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all parenting advice. We're here to walk alongside you, offering support, understanding, and a listening ear—never judgment or criticism.

6. What are your core groups?
We have several core groups, including:
- Teens with Tots: For parents under 25, offering a no-judgement zone for young parents to connect and support each other.
- Later in Life: For those who started their parenting journey in their late 30s, 40s, or beyond.
- Nanaship: Connecting families with older adults who want to be involved as "honorary grandparents," building bonds across generations.

7. Where are you based?
We're based in Shrewsbury and support mums and families across the area.

8. How do I get involved?
You can reach out via our contact form, sign up for our newsletter, or join one of our groups or workshops. We welcome new members and volunteers!

9. Is there a cost to join?
Most of our support groups and community events are free or low-cost, thanks to our commitment to making support accessible to everyone. If any programme has a fee, we'll make it clear upfront.

10. Is Mothership Life a safe and confidential space?
Absolutely. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where you can share, learn, and grow without fear of judgment.

11. Can dads, partners, or carers get involved?
Our main focus is on supporting mums, but we value the wider family and community. If you're a dad, partner, or carer and want to know more, please get in touch!
